The Peninsula Tokyo announced the opening of Zuicho, its first restaurant venture in Tokyo, on February 1, 2024. Zuicho, located on the hotel’s fourth floor, offers an immersive Japanese culinary experience with luxurious art and décor for guests. Operated by Wa Creations and led by Chef Inaba, Zuicho is known for its exclusive dining experiences. It’s a sibling to the famous Michelin-starred Zuicho in Hong Kong, as well as Macau and Singapore.
Zuicho specializes in refined “kappo” cuisine, which involves a multi-course culinary journey reflecting Japan’s changing seasons. Lunch and dinner options include carefully crafted sashimi and Japanese seasonal dishes with premium ingredients.
Seating twenty guests in total, Zuicho has eight seats at the main counter, six at a private dining counter, and six in a private dining room. Its elegant design incorporates Japanese aesthetics, featuring handcrafted counters and artworks by renowned pottery masters.
Lunch is served from noon, with dinner seatings at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Lunch options include a tasting menu at JPY 25,300 and an omakase course at JPY 35,420. For dinner, two omakase courses are available: one at JPY 35,420 and a premium option at JPY 48,070. Prices include a 10% consumption tax and a 15% service charge. Zuicho is closed every Wednesday and on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
