During Milan Design Week 2023, a new collection of seven furniture pieces was launched by Bentley Home in collaboration with three world-renowned designers and architects. The Bentley Home Atelier, located at the historical Palazzo Chiesa, was transformed into a multisensory backdrop within its inner courtyard garden for the occasion.
The collection, which showcases the substance and elegance of Bentley Home Design, was created in partnership with leading designers who are known for their innovative use of sustainable materials, organic forms, expert craftsmanship, and cutting-edge production technology. Each piece in the collection was designed to be practical and contemporary, suitable for any home.
One of the designers involved in the collaboration was Federico Peri, who worked on a new table series, including a coffee table. The coffee table is available in beautiful veneer options and a new Paper Marble finish created by Paper Factor®. The founder of Paper Factor®, Riccardo Cavaciocchi, who is also an architect, developed the tabletop finish, which looks and feels like marble but is made using “raw paper” and natural pigments.
Bentley Home’s focus on sustainability, expert craftsmanship, and materiality is reflected in the partnership with Paper Factor®. The traditional techniques used by Paper Factor®, which involve both hand and machine, align with Bentley’s values. The finish will be customizable and more widely available across the Bentley Home collection in 2023.
The 2023 Bentley Home collection showcases the brand’s most distinctive design features, including well-defined lines, the skillful use of wood, iconic curves, and contoured shapes. The collection was designed by Federico Peri in collaboration with Bentley Home.
The Thames coffee and side table is a two or three-piece set designed by Peri, showcasing Bentley Home’s focus on sustainable materials, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The design of the tables features an atoll-like shape with a contrasting core set inside dynamically curved veining patterns, supported by elegant legs.
One of the coffee tables in the set is available in a Paper Factor® version, designed by Riccardo Cavaciocchi. The tabletop is made from a “raw paper” micro cellulose compound and natural pigments, processed to resemble marble. The Paper Factor® version is offered in monochrome or with burgundy accents.
The new Camden dining table was created in collaboration with Bentley Home by Milan-based designer, Federico Peri. The design of the table embodies the main concepts of the Bentley Home 2023 collection, including energy, sharp lines, lightness, and substance. The table’s elegant legs create a suspension-like effect, adding to the overall sense of weightlessness and resulting in a dynamic and sophisticated finish.
The Dalston console table is a geometric piece that combines three different shapes and features delicate sinuous lines. Its unique marble effect adds to the overall design, which was inspired by the front of a vintage Bentley, giving it a sense of power and movement. The console table is set on a rich, dark base, with the artist applying a degradé effect to create a custom ombre finish. This finish, first launched by Bentley Home in 2021, is now offered on the marble console table, providing customers with an additional option for personalization. With a range of extensive options available, customers can create highly personalized specifications to suit their individual tastes.
The Bayton sofa and armchair were designed by architect Carlo Colombo in partnership with Bentley Home. The sofa’s elegant and refined form exudes comfort, with inspiration drawn from a Bentley car. The fine wooden frame and beautifully proportioned curves of the sofa are combined with streamlined, tightly fitted upholstery to create a sophisticated and comfortable piece of furniture.
The Brixton bed is defined by its curved and dynamic lines, which fuse minimalism and elegance to create a highly comfortable sleeping experience. The double headboard’s inner frame is available with either a natural wood or lacquer finish, which contrasts with the slim upholstery to create a sense of movement. An optional light can be integrated into the headboard, both adding to the beauty of the piece and providing functional lighting. The bed’s inner frame, bedside shelves, and footboard are all available in a choice of veneers, offering customers a range of options to personalize their sleeping space.
