Inter Miami CF is gearing up for its fifth season with a renewed commitment to success, as showcased in a recent training session in Hong Kong. The highlight of the offseason? Legendary striker Luis Suárez joining the team.
Suárez, a decorated veteran with Champions League, Club World Cup, and Copa América victories under his belt, brings firepower and experience. His stellar performance last season (26 goals, 17 assists) in the Brazilian league earned him Best Player and Best Striker honors.
But that’s not all. Inter Miami is taking fans on a global ride with a six-week preseason tour spanning San Salvador, Dallas, Riyadh, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, culminating in a home game at DRV PNK Stadium. Excitement is building as the club prepares for an action-packed season.
In Hong Kong, Inter Miami faced the local team. Head Coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino expressed gratitude for the warm reception, but fans were disappointed by the absence of key players Messi and Suárez. Martino, however, assured everyone that this decision, made in consultation with medical staff, prioritized player well-being and prevented potential injuries. He acknowledged the fans’ disappointment and requested understanding, emphasizing the team’s commitment to putting player health first.
