Pele played at four World Cups and was part of three winning Brazil teams: in 1958, 1962 and 1970.  He is the only player to be on three World Cup champions and has scored 1281 goals in his 22-year career.

With fans worldwide on edge over his health, the football legend Pele said he was cheering for the Brazilian national team from the hospital.  The Brazil team also paid tribute to him after the win 4-1 vs South Korea in Qatar.
