Thailand’s Dreamers Unleashed: Porsche x Puma Unveil Anniversary Sneaker Collection with 88rising Partnership

Porsche Thailand and Puma have collaborated to launch a collection of limited-edition sneakers as part of their ‘Dreams in Colours’ initiative, which commemorates three decades of enduring Porsche enthusiasm in Thailand.

The vibrant sneaker collection, inspired by a kaleidoscope, has been specifically designed to complement the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS – 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition, a special model created to honor Porsche’s presence in the Southeast Asian country over the past thirty years. Earlier this year, the exclusive sports car was unveiled in seven different colors, representing each day of the week in Thai culture, and quickly sold out after its release.

In a similar fashion to the celebratory 911 Carrera GTS, the Porsche x Puma California Pro 911 ‘Dreams in Colours’ Edition is available in seven vivid shades: Signal Yellow, Ruby Star, Signal Green, Pastel Orange, Riviera Blue, Ultra Violet, and Fire Red. As a tribute to 1993, the year when Porsche cars were officially imported and distributed in Thailand, only 1,993 pairs of these colorful sneakers will be produced as part of this special collaboration.

Ludwig Tsai, the General Manager of Puma Thailand, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to partner with Porsche in bringing their joint Dreams in Colours campaign to life, celebrating three decades of enduring Porsche passion in Thailand. The release of Puma’s unique collection of 1,993 sneakers aims to allow a wider audience of Porsche and Puma enthusiasts to join in the celebration, particularly targeting Thailand’s young dreamers.

Each Puma California Pro sneaker has been meticulously crafted using high-quality materials and matched with the corresponding Porsche Paint-to Sample colors from the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS – 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition. Just like the lucky owners of the limited-edition 911, sneaker enthusiasts and aspiring young dreamers in Thailand can select the sneaker color that corresponds to their birth day, adding an extra touch of good luck to their style.

The limited-edition sneaker also features unique and customized details. On the left tongue, there is the Porsche Paint-to-Sample color code, while the right tongue displays the corresponding day. The insoles on each side are distinct as well, with the left featuring a Classic Porsche 964 design and the right showcasing the 911 Carrera GTS – 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition, matching the color and day of the sneaker. The collection is further enhanced by intricate elements like the edition number, a contemporary ‘911’ logo on the rear pull tab, a special box, and a set of exclusive accessories.

To mark the launch, an exclusive event was held at CARNIVALTM Bangkok’s flagship store in Siam Square, Pathum Wan, where both Porsche and Puma announced a collaboration with the music and media label 88rising. The collaboration aims to discover and nurture young and emerging talent in Thailand. Aspiring artists are encouraged to showcase their skills by using the hashtag #DreamsinColours on TikTok. A winner will be chosen to participate in 88Rising’s writing camp, which will be held either in Los Angeles, USA, or Bali, Indonesia, offering them the opportunity to further develop their artistic abilities.

The limited-edition Porsche x Puma California Pro 911 ‘Dreams in Colours’ Edition is available now. Customers can find them at CarnivalTM Bangkok, as well as at Porsche Studios Iconsiam and Siam Paragon, and select Puma stores across Thailand. The sneakers will have a retail price of THB 6,500.
