Dior Maison is releasing a new tableware collection Lily of the Valley. Known as the flower of chastity that carries happiness, the lily of the valley was a good luck charm of Monsieur Dior, who always carried a sprig in his pocket during fashion shows.
From his early childhood spent roaming the Eden like garden of his family home in Granville, Christian Dior cultivated a passion for the lily of the valley. This delicate flower became one of his good luck charms, worn in his buttonhole or sewn into the hems of his haute couture designs. A symbol of purity and joy that announces the arrival of warmer days, the lily of the valley adorns this season’s new Dior Maison collection by Cordelia de Castellane.
The new tableware collection features a lineup of coffee cups and saucers, plates, teapots, and trays.
Highlights from the collection:
Decorative plate in extra fine Limoges porcelain in the shape of a green leaf
Dinner plate in extra fine Limoges porcelain with green lily of the valley motifs on the occasion of the first of May.
