Super Nintendo World Unveiled at Universal Studios Hollywood with Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach Making Special Appearances

On the eagerly anticipated opening of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Hollywood, a red carpet was rolled out. The event featured special appearances by Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach, as well as a brilliant fireworks display. It was announced that SUPER NINTENDO WORLD would be open to the public starting on Friday, February 17, 2023.

An expanded area within Universal Studios Hollywood is now home to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, an all-new and visually impressive land. In partnership with Nintendo®, Universal Creative has brought this concept to life with the goal of delivering exhilarating entertainment through innovative technological achievements. The attractions, inspired by beloved characters and video games that have captured the hearts of Nintendo fans for generations, promise an unforgettable experience.

Brie Larson, known for her role as Captain Marvel, joins a diverse group of celebrities that includes Dylan Sprouse, Barbara Palvin, Anderson Paak, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Jaime Camil, Pete Wentz, Chris Hardwick, Sam Richardson, Jordin Sparks, Alejandro Fernández Jr., Jhonny Caz, Mario Domm, Marco Antonio Solis, Alison Solis, Marla Solis, Angélica María, and Angélica Vale.

In regards to the opening of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Hollywood, Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto, Representative Director & Fellow of Nintendo Co., Ltd, has shared his thoughts. He expressed his excitement and enthusiasm for the launch of the new land, which showcases beloved characters and worlds from Nintendo’s popular video games. Mr. Miyamoto also expressed gratitude to the Universal Studios team for their hard work and collaboration in bringing the project to life.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Hollywood is an immersive theme park land that is designed to transport visitors into the colorful and imaginative world of Nintendo’s video games. The land is an expansion of the original SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Japan and features a range of attractions, restaurants, and shops.

One of the main attractions in the land is the Mario Kart ride, which allows visitors to ride through the Mushroom Kingdom and compete in a race against other guests. The ride uses augmented reality and projection mapping technology to create a realistic and engaging experience.

Another popular attraction is Yoshi’s Adventure ride, which takes guests on a gentle journey through a lush and vibrant landscape. Visitors can also explore Bowser’s Castle and experience the interactive challenges and games within.

In addition to the attractions, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD also features themed restaurants and food stands that serve up dishes inspired by the characters and worlds of Nintendo’s video games. The shops in the land offer a range of merchandise, from souvenirs to collectibles, that celebrate the iconic characters and games of Nintendo.
