The City’s “Summer in the City” series offers an exciting lineup of family-favorite activities, including Movies on the Lawn and Summer Concerts, throughout June, July, and August.
Movies on the Lawn: Families are invited to the Great Park Terraced Lawn for an outdoor movie night on the big screen. Attendees can bring low-back chairs, blankets, and picnics, or purchase treats from gourmet food trucks and a snack bar. Food trucks will be available starting at 6:30 p.m., with movies beginning after sunset, weather permitting.

Summer Concerts: Enjoy family-friendly concerts at Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge, featuring a variety of music genres. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. Guests can bring picnics or buy snacks from gourmet food trucks.
- Saturday, July 27 — The Reflexx • Totally Rad ’80s
- Saturday, August 10 — 1969 the Tribute • ’60s Rock and Roll
- Saturday, August 17 — DW3 • R&B, Soul, Old School Funk
Symphony in the Cities: Join the community for an evening of outdoor summer fun with Symphony in the Cities, a beloved annual event. Enjoy popular classics, pop tunes, and patriotic songs at Great Park Live. Pre-concert activities start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m.

All “Summer in the City” events are free, with no tickets or pre-registration required. Seating is first-come, first-served. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs, blankets, and layered clothing.
