The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in California is set to open on March 1, 2023, showcasing nearly 50 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus, known for its large, double-petaled blooms atop tall, straight stems. The attraction’s 2023 theme, “Live Colorfully,” is fitting, as the rows of color-coordinated blooms create a stunningly beautiful backdrop for visitors to immerse themselves in floral splendor.
Aside from the ranunculus, The Flower Fields also offers a variety of activities that make it worth repeat visits, including a Tractor Wagon Ride, a U-Pick Blueberry patch, an American Flag of Flowers, an Artist Garden, a Historic Poinsettia Display, and a Demonstration Garden.
Fred Clarke, General Manager of The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, says that visitors “can’t help but smile here” and that the farm is honored to serve as a multi-hued backdrop to so many family trips, romantic dates, proposals, and weddings. The Flower Fields invites visitors to “live colorfully” and looks forward to creating new memories during the 2023 season.
New events for the 2023 season include the Meditation and Sound Healing Workshop, a Flower Design Workshop, and Toddler and Me Yoga Story Time. Favorite programming from previous seasons will also return, such as the live outdoor music series, Tea in the Garden, and Flower Flow Yoga. Special events, like Kid’s Day on March 25, a Canon Photography Workshop on April 16, and the Mother’s Day Celebration on May 14, will also be available throughout the season.
Located at 5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA, 92008, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch offers single-ticket admission and season passes.
