Silver Dollar City steps back in time to America’s 1880s with more than 40 rides & attractions, world-class festivals, and home-style food offerings. Silver Dollar City new Street Fest will start from April 15-May 2, 2021, Thursdays-Sundays.
Beginning in March and carrying on through December, visitors will the “City” nestled in the Ozark Mountains, near Branson, Missouri, located atop the natural landmark, Marvel Cave – open for exploration tours.
Here is how it works: Guests choose between an option of $30 for five tasting items, or $10 more for five tasting items plus a refillable souvenir mug. The menu extends through 20 selected eateries, each with a variety of options. For example, Tater Patch has specialty chicken skewers or fried, loaded Tater Tumblers stuffed with Chorizo & Avocado, or Garlic Parmesan & Red Pepper Sauce. Lady Liberty has chicken tender bowls like Poutine, Chipotle with Black Beans & Corn or Parmesan. Dockside Grill offers Mac & Cheese of BLT, Chile, Sweet Corn or Tex Mex. The new Rivertown Smokehouse is serving up Fried Spare Ribs. How about a plate of Carnitas Ravioli Nachos? Top it all off with sweet treat Belgian Waffles with a choice of S’mores, Snickers Bar or the fancy, colorful kid-friendly Unicorn.
Also during the Bluegrass & BBQ festival, the House of BBQ serves up 40,000 pounds of slow-smoked, sumptuous barbecue, as a custom-made 9-foot smoker and large outdoor grills. Southern Gospel Picnic features the House of Chicken & Fixin’s with three types of chicken and a savory vegetable pie. Fall brings smoked turkey legs and chuck wagon cooking, and An Old Time Christmas adds holiday foods from a prime rib buffet to fresh-made fruitcakes, ginger cookies and hot wassail. Ozarks home-style cooking includes: Ozark Succotash cooked up in gigantic 5-foot skillets, double-battered fried chicken, BBQ ribs, and hot apple dumplings with homemade cinnamon ice cream. In addition, there is the unique-to-Silver Dollar City Outlaw Run ice cream, created after the iconic wood coaster with peanuts, sea salt caramel & chocolate chunks.
