The open-air event, Salone Auto Torino 2024, set in the heart of Turin and free for the public, is scheduled from September 13 to 15, 2024. It aims to celebrate the rich history of motoring through a distinctive exhibition featuring carriages from the early 1900s, design masterpieces of the 60s and 70s, and sustainable cars shaping the transition towards 2035.
In Piazza Carlo Felice and Piazza Castello, designated test areas will showcase low-emission technologies developed by major car manufacturers. Visitors will have the opportunity to test these technologies on regular roads.
The event not only highlights commercial innovations of various brands but also features dream-inducing supercars, iconic cars, prototypes, and unique creations from top designers. Two-wheelers with various engines will be available for test drives, alongside innovations from related companies.
The Formula 1 will take center stage in parades and dynamic events along the special Dynamic Circuit encompassing Piazza San Carlo, Via Roma, and Piazza Castello. This circuit promises a captivating spectacle each day.
On Saturday, September 14, the passion of collections and clubs will be celebrated with the Turin Grand Prix. The Reggia di Venaria, providing a picturesque backdrop, will host sports cars from various eras, accessible to the public. Following this, a grand parade through the center of Venaria Reale, passing through the Panoramic of Superga, will conclude in Via Roma.
Salone Auto Torino 2024 is expected to have a significant impact on the local area, contributing to the economy. For visitors, the Free Pass Salone, a free electronic ticket, will provide access to various events, including the opportunity to test drive the latest models from car manufacturers.
Those with the Free Pass Salone will also benefit from transportation agreements for trains and buses during the event days, as well as discounts and special entrances to museums, businesses, and restaurants in Turin.
