Located at the Sequoia Park Zoo in the City of Eureka, the Redwood Sky Walk will be open to the public on June 4, 2021. For the first time, visitors will be able to enjoy the views of the redwood trees closer than ever. The sky walk is also considered as the longest sky walk in the western United States, reaches heights as high as 100ft above the forest floor.
A 360 ft long ramp will guide you to the nine platforms, and the tour is self-guided, so you can enjoy your time with the nature. It is also ADA accessible with the exception of one optional segment.
Per the Sequoia Park Zoo, the walkway was built without harming the trees while the platforms are suspended from the tree, which also will not impact the forest floor.
Admission to the Redwood Sky Walk is included in the price of admission to the Sequoia Park Zoo and no special reservations are required.
