Proper Eats Food Hall, located on the promenade level of ARIA Resort & Casino, has recently opened its doors to the public, offering a collection of highly sought-after imports and only-in-Las Vegas destinations. The establishment is the brainchild of industry trendsetter Clique Hospitality.
Customers can indulge in a variety of mouth-watering offerings, including Judy Joo’s Seoul Bird out of London, Wexler’s Deli out of Los Angeles, Portland’s Shalom Y’all, and New York’s Egghead. It is worth noting that these concepts are making their debut outside of their respective native cities.
Clique Hospitality has also created several of Proper Eats’ concepts, including the company’s new sushi establishment, Temaki, alongside Easy Donuts, Proper Bar, and Laughing Buddha. The diverse range of culinary experiences available at Proper Eats Food Hall is sure to please both local and visiting food enthusiasts.
Proper Eats, a new food hall located on the promenade level of ARIA Resort & Casino, features an impressive 24,000 square feet of space and an elevated architectural design by renowned Italian designer, Alessandro Munge. The space is divided into different concepts, with unique designs and furnishings that reflect the personality of each food offering.
Upon entering the food hall, guests are greeted by Proper Bar, which is adorned with a luminous curvilinear trellis canopy, creating a stylish and sophisticated setting for cocktails. The distinctive design elements of Proper Eats make it a popular gathering spot for visitors and locals alike.
Open Daily from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Among the culinary concepts available is Easy Donuts, a charming coffee and donut shop that serves craft coffees and an array of specialty donuts. In addition, Egghead, a popular eatery from New York City owned by Tao Hospitality, offers delicious egg-centric sandwiches that put a modern spin on classic breakfast dishes. One of their signature sandwiches is made with eggs and cheese served on freshly baked potato brioche bread.
Wexler’s Deli, a popular food spot from Los Angeles, has also made its way to Proper Eats, offering old-school Jewish deli classics made with handcrafted pastrami and smoked salmon. The menu features an array of bagels and sandwiches, including the “Sam Rothstein,” a grilled pastrami Reuben made with Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and sauerkraut on rye bread, and the “Moe Greene,” a toasted bagel topped with lox, paddlefish caviar, and gold leaf.

Laughing Buddha: This restaurant serves a variety of ramen noodle dishes paired with fragrant broths. Customers can choose from tonkotsu, miso ramen, and pork belly and crispy eggplant bao buns. Laughing Buddha’s dishes have a rich and silky texture and are packed with deep umami flavor.
Lola’s Burgers: The restaurant takes inspiration from the gourmet burgers created by Michael Wharton in the 1970s and 1980s in New York. Lola Wharton, Michael’s granddaughter, pays tribute to him with a menu featuring premium beef burgers served on freshly baked buns. Customers can choose from a variety of burger options such as the double patty “Smash Burger” topped with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and Russian dressing, or the “backyard classic” featuring a 6 oz patty with American cheese, diced onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mustard. Lola’s Burgers also offers a vegan “Impossible” burger topped with shredded lettuce, tomato, vegan burger sauce, and avocado spread for plant-based diners.
Pizzaoki: Pizzaoki is a pizza concept that serves New York-style pizzas with classic and modern twists. The idea was created by Steve Aoki, a GRAMMY-nominated artist, producer, and DJ. The pizzeria offers a variety of menu options, including vegan and cauliflower crust options, available both by the slice and in 18″ pies. Some of the signature pizza options include the “Pursuit of Happiness,” which features mozzarella, marinara sauce, and basil, and the “Hiroquest,” topped with mozzarella, parmesan, pepperoni, sausage, capicola, and tomato sauce.
Proper Bar: The mixologist behind Proper Bar, Eric Hobbie, has created a range of signature cocktails to complement the diverse culinary offerings at Proper Eats. Each drink is tailored to the individual concept, such as the Good Seoul, which combines Casamigos Tequila, Watermelon Red Bull, Aperol, Orgeat and Lemon, and the Tropic Thunder, made with Mt. Gay rum, Orgeat, Fever Tree Cola and lime. Additionally, Proper Bar offers a selection of classic cocktails on draft, including the cosmo, old fashioned, mojito, margarita, paloma and espresso martini.
Seoul Bird: Seoul Bird, the brainchild of Food Network celebrity Judy Joo and her partner Andrew Hales, has opened its first location outside of London. The restaurant draws inspiration from Joo’s Korean-American roots and the duo’s culinary explorations across South Korea, with a focus on traditional Korean flavors and cooking techniques. One of the restaurant’s most popular dishes is the Seoul chicken sandwich, featuring crispy, double-fried chicken breast topped with American cheese, fresh lettuce, and red onion, as well as homemade umami sauce and kewpie mayo.
Shalom Y’all: Shalom Y’all is a restaurant that offers Mediterranean dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu features signature dishes such as shawarma-spiced cauliflower, grilled lamb, and beef Nazareth kebabs. Shalom Y’all is the flagship restaurant for the Sesame Collective in Portland, which has six dining concepts and was established in 2020. The restaurant builds on the well-regarded cuisine of Kasey Mills.
Temaki: Temaki is a sushi restaurant that specializes in made-to-order handrolls. The restaurant is inspired by the Japanese tradition of serving handrolls immediately after preparation, with warm rice and chilled fish. Temaki is part of the Southern California portfolio of Clique Hospitality and has quickly gained popularity in its location in Encinitas. The menu highlights sustainably caught seafood.
Proper Eats’ operating hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
