PortAventura World in Spain is scheduled to reopen on May 15

PortAventura World is scheduled to reopen on May 15 with the opening of PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land. Caribe Aquatic Park is scheduled to open on June 23.  Also on May 15, Hotel Colorado Creek, Hotel PortAventura and Hotel Gold River will open for all visitors.  From June, Hotel Colorado Creek will have 141 new deluxe rooms, a swimming pool, and a new restaurant.

In addition, visitors will once again be treated to some of PortAventura Park’s legendary shows. Bang Bang West and Aves del Paraíso are back, as well as the lively street entertainment. From May 29, visitors will also be able to enjoy all the events that take place in China’s Gran Teatro Imperial. New for this 2021 season will be the introduction of the Sesame Street character, Big Bird, and a new Shrek meet and greet that will premiere on June 23.

PortAventura World has also launched a new culinary offer for guests staying at the hotels.  In line with the expansion of the resort’s gastronomic offering, PortAventura Park is introducing the new Sweet House by Nutella, located in the Far West.  

If you fly to Spain from other countries (including children of any age), it is mandatory to fill in the Health Control Form (FCS) associated with your trip, in order to present it at the Health Control of the airport of arrival in Spain.  Click here for Spain Travel Health form.

Each form is personal and non-transferable and is associated with a single trip. Before traveling to Spain, make sure you have signed the form, on the web or in the mobile app. With this you will get the Health QR Code that you will have to show (paper or mobile) at the airport health control to be able to continue your trip. 

If you sign the form from the app, it will appear in the ‘My Travel’ section, in addition to receiving an email that you can print. 

REMEMBER: If you are coming from a country / zone considered to be at risk, you MUST carry a certificate of a negative result of the AIDT (RT-PCR or other molecular techniques for detecting viral RNA with equivalent reliability, such as TMA, RT-LAMP) for COVID19, carried out in the 72 hours prior to your arrival. You may be required to show the certificate upon entry into Spain by the authorities. Children under 6 years of age are not required to take this test.

All people entering Spain from other countries, regardless of their nationality, age or any other consideration. This does not apply to international passengers connecting at a Spanish airport with a final destination in another country, provided that the transit lasts less than 24 hours and does not leave the airport premises.
