Palace Skateboards and the anime Death Note are launching a collaborative collection of apparel and goods. The collection will be released on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Palace Skateboards Tokyo and other locations.
Death Note is an anime adaptation of the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2003 to 2006. The story follows Light Yagami, a genius high school student who acquires the Death Note, a notebook belonging to a Shinigami (death god). Using its power, he operates as “Kira,” executing criminals while engaging in intense battles of wits and psychological warfare.
The collaboration features bold designs incorporating characters and logos across denim wear, track jackets, hoodies, and shirts, along with accessories such as caps and tote bags. One standout piece is a zip-up jacket and P45 jeans set, prominently featuring Ryuk in a striking design. The track jacket, characterized by its two-tone color-blocked design, showcases a print of Misa on the back. The zip-up hoodie integrates different images of Misa on the front and back, while Palace’s logo is styled in a Death Note-inspired font.
Other items include button-up shirts in two color variations featuring prints of Misa and Ryuk, long-sleeve shirts with skull prints, and graphic T-shirts with character designs. The accessory lineup includes a trucker cap and a nylon bag adorned with a metal plate featuring Misa’s design.
