Raffles Hotels & Resorts, a prominent luxury brand under Accor, alongside NEOM, announced today their collaboration to introduce a new resort in Trojena, the year-round mountain destination situated in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Set to commence operations in 2027, Raffles Trojena aims to redefine mountainside hospitality, granting guests unparalleled opportunities to immerse themselves in the region’s extraordinary natural splendor.
Nestled amidst the grandeur of Trojena’s mountains, Raffles boasts a distinctive and eye-catching ring-shaped architecture, affording breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from every angle. The resort will comprise 105 guestrooms meticulously arranged around the periphery of the ring, ensuring guests enjoy utmost comfort along with uninterrupted vistas and seclusion. Encompassing circular zones and carefully landscaped gardens at ground level will beckon guests to explore and uncover hidden treasures, while the roof, punctuated by an array of circular openings, will flood the interiors with abundant natural light. Additionally, the Raffles resort will uphold the esteemed hallmarks for which the globally recognized hospitality brand is renowned, including its legendary butler service, exceptional culinary experiences, and a commitment to showcasing local arts and culture.
As the latest addition to the NEOM Hotel Division’s portfolio, Raffles Trojena will be situated within the Discover cluster, one of six distinctive clusters forming the mountain destination. Rooted in an ethos of exploring the natural world, the Discover cluster encompasses notable landmarks such as the Discovery Tower, an elegant high-rise structure housing an open-air museum; the Observatory, a panoramic viewpoint offering unparalleled vistas of Trojena’s landscape; and the Cosmic Gate, a stargazing camp and innovative astronomical park. NEOM represents a region undergoing transformation through visionary giga-projects, aimed at pioneering a new model for sustainable living.
