Kering has announced the opening of its new 9,500 square-meter offices in Milan. The six-floor Palazzo Pertusati, located in the central Via Senato, belongs solely to Kering and offers a stunning double view. On one side, it overlooks the quadrilatero della moda, while on the other side, it faces the Giardini di Porta Venezia (Indro Montanelli Gardens).
The building occupies the site where the former Palazzo Pertusati Gropallo once stood. Designed by the 18th-century architect Simone Cantoni, it was considered a model of neoclassical style.
Jean-François Palus, Kering’s Group Managing Director, expressed his delight at the relocation of their Italy head office to this magnificent location in Milan’s business and luxury district. This move symbolically affirms Kering’s role as a crucial pillar in the Italian luxury and business landscape. Following the establishment of the 162,000 square-meter global logistic hub in Trecate (Novara) in 2021 and the ongoing significant investments by the Group’s Houses in Italy, these new offices represent a significant milestone for Kering’s presence in the country. Palus is confident that they will contribute to further strengthening the sense of belonging among the Group’s more than 13,000 employees in Italy.
The interiors of the new offices have undergone a complete reconfiguration to offer flexible use, maximize natural light, and provide a comfortable experience. The workspaces span five floors and are accompanied by a canteen, cafeteria, and conference room with a breathtaking panoramic view situated on the top floor.
Throughout the floors, there are over 300 formal seats, private phone booths, meeting rooms, and collaborative spaces. The décor of the office spaces showcases iconic pieces of Italian design, arranged within areas adorned with organic colors and textured materials, all set amidst an environment that highlights natural greenery.
In addition to the work areas, there are several common spaces available. These include a dedicated canteen, a bar, and a magnificent outdoor terrace spanning over 1,500 square meters. From this terrace, one can enjoy a view of the Duomo and the rooftops of the Milan business district, creating a truly spectacular setting. While the primary goal of this exceptional work environment is to foster genuine team spirit and encourage a collaborative work style, the offices are also on track to achieve Leed Platinum and Well Gold sustainability certifications in the near future.
