Italian Icons Unite: The Tod’s x Lamborghini Footwear Collaboration is Here

Lamborghini and Tod’s presented their inaugural footwear collection resulting from their unique collaboration. This special partnership celebrates the craftsmanship and innovation that define both brands, each being a leader in its respective industry.

Both companies share fundamental qualities of vision and passion, coupled with an unwavering commitment to technological research and innovation. These qualities redefine the boundaries of Italian style through this collaboration. Tod’s and Automobili Lamborghini, representing the pinnacle of Italian design and manufacturing tradition, uphold values such as attention to detail and continuous research. The project commences with the introduction of a men’s and women’s footwear collection featuring two models: the iconic Tod’s Gommino and a sneaker. These models showcase colors inspired by the distinctive styles of both brands. The Gommino features a new design reminiscent of Lamborghini’s super sports cars, with tubular banding enhancing its aerodynamic appeal, creating a sense of movement and elegance. The soles of the footwear exhibit characteristic ‘pebbles’ matching the color of the heel or upper. The leathers used are sourced from the world’s top tanneries, and the production process involves meticulous craftsmanship, including hand-cutting and stitching of the leather.

The collection made its debut at Pitti Uomo in Florence, a renowned event in the realm of men’s style. The spotlight of the installation was on the collection displayed in various forms, alongside two Lamborghini Revuelto vehicles, emphasizing the synergy between the two worlds. Some of Tod’s artisanal production was showcased at Stazione Leopolda, where the meticulous craftsmanship involved in sewing and assembling the Gommino was revealed.
