Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos, has reopened with a fresh dining concept. The property has been enhanced by the addition of 21 new luxury suites, one of which is the Villa Solaz Suite. The Villa Solaz Suite offers a spacious area of 10,645 square feet with 4 private bedrooms, providing an exquisite ambiance for an elevated gathering experience. Guests can enjoy exclusive services such as a private chef, private mixologist, and Artisan Butler service, all of which can be customized according to their preferences. Additionally, the resort will unveil two new Wellness Suites that focus on relaxation and whole-body therapy. The relaxation Wellness Suite features a double-bed massage table and a steam room, while the whole-body therapy Wellness Suite offers heated loungers combined with meditation visors and halotherapy that balance the alkalization of the body through an immersive experience. With the new suites, the resort’s total room count has increased to 145 guest rooms and suites.
One more remarkable enhancement to the property is the establishment of Mako Beach, which is expected to become the latest hot spot in Los Cabos. Overlooking the sparkling sea, Mako Beach features a specially designed Airstream® that serves delicious Baja-style cuisine while guests enjoy local delicacies and international flavors with live entertainment and DJ sessions on the beach. With the most lively atmosphere in Baja, Mako Beach will revitalize the spirit of “Yesteryear Baja” and become one of the new “must-visit” spots in Los Cabos.
Guests visiting Solaz can anticipate the same exceptional level of service that has made it one of Los Cabos’ most notable destinations since its opening in 2018. The resort’s Artisan Butlers are available to anticipate guests’ needs and provide dedicated 24-hour service. Furthermore, they serve as guests’ personal storyteller and Baja expert, offering exclusive insight and knowledge. Every guestroom offers access to the artisan butler service, regardless of the room category.
The resort offers guests a culinary experience featuring seven distinct restaurants, lounges, and/or cellars, all managed by Executive Chef Elihu Sepúlveda and his team. Solaz’s gastronomic offerings celebrate fresh seafood, sustainable ingredients, and local Baja influences. On-site dining options include:
- Al Pairo, a concept designed by Chef Martín Arellano, featuring contemporary cuisine with Asian, European, American, and Latin influences, using locally sourced, fresh, and sustainable ingredients from Baja.
- La Cava, the resort’s exclusive wine cellar, is curated by Solaz’s sommelier, Ulises Barrios. The cellar offers stunning sea views and sunsets, making it the perfect venue for an unforgettable wine tasting experience.
- Cascabel, a casual indoor/outdoor restaurant serving traditional, contemporary, and authentic Baja Market-style breakfast.
- Foresta, part of Solaz’s Curated Wellness Heritage by Ojo de Liebre Spa, offers a fully plant-based menu featuring nourishing, hydrating, and detoxifying smoothies, juices, energizing bowls, and fresh dishes made from locally sourced and sustainable vegetables.
- Mako, a “Dinner Grill” featuring dry-aged steaks, local lobsters, and the freshest fish from the sea.
- Riccio di Mare, an Italian-inspired offering that draws from the contemporary Osterias of northern Italy, taking advantage of the area’s bountiful resources.
- Mako Beach, a new beachfront venue with an exclusively designed Airstream® that serves delicious Baja-style food, features live DJ sessions and authentic Cabo vibes, and is the latest “place to be seen” in Cabo.
