Starting Friday, June 28, visitors to the Palace will find themselves immersed in a romantic Parisian atmosphere right in the heart of the hotel’s bustling lobby. This central area will transform into an authentic fan zone, complete with iconic French elements such as the Morris column, cobblestones, and bridges, evoking the landmarks of Paris. Guests can enjoy this unique setting while watching live coverage of the sporting events on a giant screen, beginning Friday, July 26.
The design pays homage to Paris with a resolutely artistic touch, reflecting the city’s rich history and its legacy of hosting major sporting events. Vintage-inspired posters from the 1920s and 30s will decorate the pillars, a nod to the significant sporting event held in Paris in 1924.
The lobby’s transformation will conclude on Sunday, August 11, when it will return to its original state, marking the end of this special experience.
In celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Le Bar Long will feature a curated selection of bespoke cocktails, each inspired by cities that have previously hosted world-class sporting events. Created by the talented Chef Mixologist Gaël Allier, these cocktails capture the spirit of competition and celebrate the fusion of sport, culture, and gastronomy. BARCELONA 1992: Inspired by the Spanish Rebujito, this reimagined cocktail blends aromatic Spanish wine, tomato liqueur, and herbal sparkling water, delivering a rich, balanced flavor perfect for light summer sipping.
LONDRES 2012: A summery twist on a classic gin cocktail, this version incorporates grapefruit juice and a herbal aperitif of lemon balm and bergamot for a refreshing sensory experience. A non-alcoholic version is also available.
TOKYO 2020: Drawing inspiration from Japan’s famous Mizuwari, this whisky-based cocktail skillfully combines malty flavors with elderflower liqueur, resulting in an invigorating and delicate highball drink, perfect for a sophisticated tasting experience.
Cocktail Le Royal Monceau x PARIS 2024: This homage to the French 75 blends the elegance of white champagne with subtle pear and citrus flavors. A non-alcoholic version is also available.
