Hoshinoya Fuji introduces new dining experiences, starting April 25, 2022

From April 25th to June 10th, 2022, Japan’s first glamping resort “Hoshinoya Fuji” will offer a “Haruyama Hunting Meat Lunch” where you can learn about and enjoy the blessings of spring at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Hunters go into the mountains and hunt throughout the year, not just during the fall hunting season. By collecting edible wild plants in the mountains with hunters and listening to the process from hunters to getting edible wild plants and hunted meat to consumers, guests can get a deeper understanding of the ingredients.

Venison, which is characterized by its tender meat quality, is grilled in a salt oven using a stone oven, one of the highlights from the menu.  In addition, you can enjoy the scent of Japanese pepper the moment you break the salt pot and the delicate flavor of spring hunting meat. After the meal, a dessert will be served, which is a local dish of Yamanashi.

For this experience, tables, chairs, bonfires will be installed on the wooden deck on the grounds of Hoshinoya Fuji to provide a comfortable space for outdoor.  

Haruyama Hunting Dining Experiences will be available from April 25 – June 10, 2022.
