H&M Studio’s 10th Anniversary Holiday Capsule

In a noteworthy return to the roots of fashion, H&M Studio heralds a captivating new era for eveningwear with its Holiday capsule collection. The collection, set to debut on December 7 at selected stores and hm.com, draws inspiration from the artful construction of antique undergarments and the raw aesthetics of Brutalist architecture.

The H&M Studio Holiday Capsule elegantly combines corsetry, lingerie, and tailoring to present a seductive blend of megawatt dresses and sophisticated suiting. Featuring graceful silhouettes crafted from sensual silk and lace, the collection adopts a soft-focus color palette, offering an alluring interpretation of day-to-night dressing.

Highlighting key pieces within the collection are the voluminous tulle ballgown in dramatic red, the blush-pink lace-paneled evening dress, and the sparkling mesh mini dress with a peek-a-boo neckline. Lingerie details are seamlessly integrated into the tailoring template, with mesh-trimmed black trousers coordinating with a cropped corset top and a slouchy, room-for-two blazer. A timeless pairing is showcased through a slinky silver slip dress and an ankle-skimming black overcoat. The accessory lineup adds an edge with geometric jewelry and minimal strappy sandals.

The H&M Studio Holiday Capsule places a strong emphasis on sustainability, incorporating tempting textures with long-lasting, premium-quality fabrics. The majority of the materials used are more sustainably sourced, including organic silk, recycled wool, Lenzing EcoVero™ viscose, and sequins made from recycled polyester. Notably, three out of the four jewelry pieces are crafted from recycled aluminum.

H&M Studio, recognized as H&M’s most directional and fashion-forward offering, celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of the Holiday Capsule. This marks a new chapter for the limited-edition collections, transitioning from biannual releases to a newly expanded remit. Moving forward, H&M Studio will encompass a creative framework that includes multiple limited-edition collections per year, featuring several drops per season. Developed in-house by a dedicated design team at the brand’s Stockholm atelier, H&M Studio continues to push the boundaries of fashion since its inception in 2013.
