Hoshino Resort Tomamu will hold a “Hanami Dumpling Festival” where you can enjoy 100 kinds of cherry blossom-shaped dumplings from April 28th to May 31st, 2022. This is an event where you can enjoy 100 kinds of cherry-blossom viewing dumplings that combine spring ingredients and Hokkaido-like ingredients, and drinks that go well with the dumplings.
Furthermore, in order to propose a new way to eat dumplings, the hotel devised 100 types of cherry-blossom dumplings with different tastes and appearances. For example, “Strawberry Cream Dango,” which uses strawberries, which are a spring ingredient, has an exquisite sweetness of fresh cream and the sourness of strawberries, and you can enjoy it like a dessert. “Pizza dumpling” is a cherry-blossom viewing dumpling that uses mozzarella cheese from Hokkaido milk.
There will be Ohanami Dango Afternoon Tea with cherry blossom viewing as well. This is a menu where you can enjoy one kind of cherry-blossom dumpling and one drink. There are 6 types of drinks, including “Sakura Latte”, “Matcha Latte”, “Sakura Tea” where you can enjoy the scent of cherry blossoms, and “Shirakaba Tea”, an herbal tea that uses birch leaves.
