Happy hauntings are abundant at The Westin Anaheim Resort’s “Haunted Orchard.” Visitors are in for a spooky good time with larger-than-life “Van Helsing” chocolate displays, wickedly delicious cocktails, ghostly treats, SCAREolers entertainment, costume contest giveaways, and other autumn favorites.
Throughout the entire month of October, both hotel guests and visitors are encouraged to dress up and share their photos on Instagram while at the hotel, tagging @westinanaheim and using #westinanaheim for a chance to win a one-night stay. Children can also partake in Halloween-themed arts and crafts activities. Specifically, from Saturday, October 28th, to Tuesday, October 31st, children dressed in costumes can explore seven different stations along the trick-or-treat trail to collect sweet treats. Additionally, guests will receive two hours of complimentary parking when dining at any establishment on the property.
The Executive Pastry Chef of The Westin Anaheim Resort, Andy de la Cruz, and his team have meticulously handcrafted a spooktacular Halloween display in the lobby, titled “Van Helsing.” This entirely edible showcase, made by nine pastry chefs over 115 hours, features 75 pounds of dark chocolate, 25 pounds of white chocolate, coffee grounds, and rice paper. It pays homage to the hotel’s General Manager, Nicholas Price, a passionate Halloween enthusiast. Don’t miss the chance to view the Van Helsing display in the hotel’s lobby before October 31st.
For scary treats and tasty drinks, visit Blossom Café & Market, located at the front of The Westin Anaheim Resort. They offer a variety of delectable options, from The Basic (pumpkin spice) latte and ghostly cake pops to candy corn sugar cookies and more. These ghoulishly good treats will be available until October 31st.
To kickstart the holiday season, enjoy unique themed cocktails and creative desserts handcrafted by the talented team of mixologists and pastry chefs at The Westin Anaheim Resort. The Tangerine Room and Bar 1030, the signature restaurant and lobby bar, offer two eerily delicious cocktails: Lights Out and Hitchcock, featuring fun shades of orange and black. Indulge in Dracula’s Coffin Cake, complete with velvety chocolate coffin tops hand-cut and raspberry coulis splattered across the plate, for a delightfully frightful experience. These “to die for” treats are available until October 31st.
On October 27th and 28th, attendees can dress to impress in their favorite Halloween costumes and join RISE Rooftop Lounge for the “RISE of Hallo-Weekend” event. There will be two terrifyingly exciting evenings of DJ spins, a costume contest giveaway, spooky cocktails, and frightening treats. Don’t miss the special ghostly performance by the SCAREolers from 8 pm to 9 pm – this ghostly glee club is sure to get your toes tapping and your bones rattling with favorite spooktacular songs of the season.
