The City of Irvine is launching Irvine CONNECT, a brand-new, free shuttle service for folks living in the community and those just visiting. Starting on April 1, 2024, Irvine CONNECT will travel from the north end of Irvine to Irvine Station, making stops at parks, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers.

The shuttle will run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, and it won’t cost anything for residents or visitors to hop aboard. The shuttle will come by every 20 minutes, and there’ll be racks on the front for bikes. Plus, both service animals and small pets in carriers are welcome onboard.

With over 70 stops on its route, Irvine CONNECT will hit all the important spots, including schools like Sierra Vista and Lakeside middle schools, Irvine and Woodbridge high schools, community hubs like Lakeview Senior Center and Northwood and Heritage parks, hospitals like Kaiser Permanente and Hoag, shopping areas on Alton Parkway and Barranca Parkway, and big centers like Irvine Spectrum Center and Irvine Station.
