Fisker has exciting news to share as the company gears up to introduce its initial lineup of vehicles in 2025. The buzz centers around a pivotal agreement struck between Fisker and Tesla, a move that will see Fisker adopting the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its upcoming models.
Under this groundbreaking partnership, Fisker will be integrating NACS compatibility into its vehicles, enabling Fisker owners to seamlessly access Tesla’s sprawling Supercharger network. With over 12,000 Supercharger stations dotting the landscapes of the United States and Canada, this collaboration promises to significantly expand the charging options available to Fisker’s discerning clientele.
Starting from the first quarter of 2025, Fisker aficionados will be able to utilize a tailor-made NACS adapter to hook up to Tesla’s Superchargers, streamlining their charging routine. What’s more, Fisker is planning to incorporate the NACS inlet directly into its vehicle engineering, a move that underlines the company’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge charging technology.
In a nod to the varying charging standards in the industry, Fisker is also including a CCS adapter for its customers, ensuring that they have the flexibility to charge their vehicles using their preferred standards.
This announcement not only showcases Fisker’s forward-looking approach to enhancing the EV ownership experience but also highlights the power of collaboration within the automotive sector. As the automotive landscape evolves, Fisker’s alignment with Tesla sets the stage for a more interconnected and accessible charging infrastructure, ultimately benefiting EV enthusiasts across North America.
