SQUARE ENIX® has unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated RPG, FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH, recognized as the most awaited game of 2024 by The Game Awards.
Titled “Destined for Rebirth,” the trailer sets the stage for the conflict between Cloud and his companions, such as Tifa, Aerith, Barret, and the formidable Sephiroth.
The video is accompanied by fresh screenshots and renders of in-game characters and locations. The global launch for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is scheduled for Feb. 29, exclusively on the PlayStation®5 (PS5®) console.
The “Destined for Rebirth” trailer not only reveals more about the threat posed by Sephiroth but also features key moments in the game, including battles against the Terror of the Deep boss, the Junon ceremony, and the Nibelheim Incident.
It provides glimpses of newly envisioned creatures and characters like the Midgardsormr. New character renders showcase Cait Sith, the witty feline-shaped robot, its large Moogle steed, Shinra-8 Captain Titov, and the beloved character Elena. The combat styles of Cait Sith and Yuffie, along with their Synergy Ability “Moogle Pinwheel,” are explored.
Voted as the “Most Anticipated” Game of 2024 at The Game Awards, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH continues the story from the acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE released in 2020.
The game follows Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, and Red XIII as they escape Midgar into a vast and vibrant world. In their quest to stop Sephiroth, they join forces with new companions like the ninja operative Yuffie and the witty Cait Sith. Players lead these characters in battle, explore reimagined classic locales, and engage in rewarding side content, fiend hunts, mini-games, and rich stories of the planet’s people and cultures.
