Disney Lookout Cay, a new destination by Disney Cruise Line on Eleuthera Island in The Bahamas, is now open to guests. This location features parades and music reflective of Bahamian culture, with local Junkanoo performers parading to the Goombay Cultural Center twice daily. Guests are invited to participate in these parades and connect with this traditional celebration.

The Play-Play Pavilion hosts the Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash, where families can enjoy games and activities with Disney characters, accompanied by Bahamian versions of Disney songs performed by local artists. Activities include Goofy’s Good Day Limbo, Pluto’s Pineapple Ring Toss, and Chip-n-Dale’s Water Brigade.

Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, are dressed in outfits designed by Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett. These outfits feature prints and patterns inspired by Junkanoo and incorporate materials like raffia. Junkanoo-inspired backdrops are also available for guest photos.

Disney Lookout Cay offers family and adult-exclusive beaches. The Rush Out, Gush Out Water Play area is available for all ages, and Sebastian’s Cove provides youth activities. Families can reserve private cabanas, and adults have access to Serenity Bay, which includes rentable cabanas.

The Nature Trail allows guests to explore Eleuthera’s scenery on foot or by bike, leading to the island’s easternmost point with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Bronze sculptures along the trail highlight local wildlife, such as money bat moths, curly-tailed lizards, and land crabs. Port Adventures, developed with local tour operators, offer opportunities to explore Eleuthera through historical and cultural tours, buggy excursions, scuba diving, and catamaran sailings.

Dining at Disney Lookout Cay includes options inspired by Bahamian recipes. The main dining areas, True-True and True-True Too BBQ, and the adult dining area, Serenity Bay BBQ, serve dishes like Bahamian pigeon peas and rice and Bahamian-style lime marinated grilled snapper, along with barbecue ribs, island spiced rotisserie chicken, and grilled cheeseburgers. Various sides and salads are also available.

Four bars serve beverages, including Bow & Ribbon Bar, Watering Hole Bar, and Reef & Wreck Bar on the main beach, and the Blue Hole Bar for adults. Sandsational Smoothies offers specialty frozen drinks, while Mangroves and Go provides iced coffees and locally sourced drinks like Bahamas Goombay Punch soda, Bahamas Coffee Roasters coffee, and Pirate Republic Brewing Company Long John Pineapple Pilsner. The Eleuthera Euphoria cocktail combines aged rum and pineapple smoothie, topped with a pineapple-shaped candy.

Disney Cruise Line has developed less than 16% of the site to preserve the natural environment, focusing on sustainability with elevated walkways and an open-trestle pier to avoid dredging. The goal is zero waste to landfill, with 90% of energy needs met by renewable sources.

Guests can purchase works by Bahamian artists at Treasures of Eleuthera and clothing and accessories by Theodore Elyett at Disney T’ings, along with other Disney Junkanoo-inspired merchandise. The Disney Dream, Disney Magic, and Disney Fantasy ships will visit Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
