Today marks the official relaunch of Crystal Serenity under the new guardianship of A&K Travel Group, embarking on its maiden voyage from Marseille following an extensive multi-million-dollar refurbishment. With a capacity to accommodate 740 guests, the cruise line’s largest vessel boasts an industry-leading space-to-guest ratio of 1 to 93.1 cu. ft., ensuring a spacious and enriching experience for passengers. The ship’s refurbishments include larger, redesigned suites, award-winning specialty dining restaurants, and inviting public spaces that promise unparalleled service and unforgettable journeys to sought-after destinations worldwide.
Crystal Serenity’s itinerary encompasses a captivating exploration of Northern Europe, including the UK, Ireland, and Iceland, before heading to the Americas, with stops in Canada and Cartagena, Colombia. Excitement builds as the ship prepares for the highly anticipated 2024 World Cruise, a 125-night voyage covering 29 countries and 62 breathtaking destinations and landscapes, departing from either San Diego or Miami.
As part of the refurbishments, Crystal introduces two new guest room categories – the Jr. Crystal Penthouse Suite and Single Guest Room with Ocean View. These additions cater to solo travelers without the concern of additional single supplements, making it more accessible for guests to enjoy the popular Sapphire Suite category.
With a diverse range of eleven dining options, including the renowned Umi Uma by Master Chef Nobuyuki (Nobu) Matsuhisa, guests onboard Crystal Serenity can indulge in an array of culinary experiences. From fine Italian cuisine at Osteria D’Ovidio to the casual and globally-inspired Tastes Kitchen & Bar, each restaurant promises to delight taste buds with delectable dishes.
Enhancing the onboard wellness experience, Crystal unveils its new spa concept, Aurōra, boasting a serene ambiance with light-bright neutral colors, an illuminated fiber optic starlight ceiling, and organic materials. The extensive treatment offerings include signature facials, massages, and a full-service Salon, ensuring guests can relax and rejuvenate during their voyage.
As Crystal Serenity sets sail on its inaugural voyage, the anticipation builds for the forthcoming relaunch of its sister ship, Crystal Symphony, which is currently undergoing renovations and is scheduled to resume service for its inaugural voyage from Athens on September 1.
