Designed in 1938 by the architect Loreti and recently renovated in 2018, Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo is also protected by Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage. After a year of being closed during the pandemic, Hotel Mediterraneo reopens with new addition and renovations.
Situated atop the 10th floor at Hotel Mediterraneo, perched on Rome’s highest hill, the Esquilino, the hotel’s newly renovated Roof Garden Restaurant welcomes a new addition with its Ligea Lounge Bar. The secluded oasis offers an intimate setting adorned with luscious greenery and fine vintage décor. Entering the terrace, guests are treated to the 180 ° view of the capital and thoughtfully designed cocktail menu.
Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo is convenient for those arriving in downtown Rome by train as it is located within walking distance from the main Termini station. The hotel design features Art Deco refinement and wall mosaics dedicated to ancient mythology and the history of Rome. It is also considered to be one of the unique hotel and is amongst the best examples of Art Déco in Rome.
Ligea Lounge Bar is open daily from 5 pm until midnight.
