AREA15 Presents: An Immersive Wonderland of Art, Music, and Culture

In May, guests are invited by AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district that is located a few minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip, to enjoy various new events, promotions, and experiences.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN MAY:

The following events will take place at AREA15 in May: 

On Thursday, May 4, there will be a live performance by Darius in The Wall at 7:30 p.m. 

On Friday, May 5, Buhoo B2B Chris Garcia will perform at Signal Lounge in The Wall. Also on Friday, Gareth Emery will present INVASION360 Las Vegas in the Portal at 9 p.m. 

On Saturday, May 6, the Thiccfreqness Record Label Showcase will take place in The Wall featuring Dyce, Fantom Freq, SHAPESHFTR, TYPE3, and Uknew. The Hops & Horses Beer Festival will also occur in the A-Lot and Portal at 2 p.m. that same day. 

From Thursday, May 11 to Sunday, May 14, Avenged Sevenfold: Life Is But A Dream… 360º Immersive Album Experience will be featured in the Portal. 

On Friday, May 12, the Little Miss Nasty Rock and Metal Burlesque will take place in the Portal at 7 p.m. 

On Saturday, May 13, AREA15 and Sick New World will present 100 Gecs (DJ Set) with support by DJ Chaotic Ugly (Machine Girl) in the A-Lot at 9:30 p.m. 

On Thursday, May 18, AREA15 and Dreamstate Las Vegas will present the EDC Las Vegas preparty in the Portal and A-Lot at 10 p.m. 

On Friday, May 19, the Golden Dawn Arkestra will perform live in The Wall at 8 p.m. Martin Dupont will also perform live in The Wall on Saturday, May 20, at 8 p.m. Finally, the Neon Dream Massive will take place at select venues throughout AREA15 at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27.

ONGOING EVENTS, RESIDENCIES AND ENTERTAINMENT:

The Rift at AREA15 is hosting Smokus Pocus: 

A 420 Magic Show every Wednesday through Monday. Showtimes are at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show, and guests must be 21 or older to attend. General admission tickets cost $30, while VIP tickets cost $45. Smokus Pocus promises an experience of mind-bending magic tricks and illusions, featuring caricatures coming to life, objects disappearing and reappearing in impossible places, mind reading, and more. It is billed as the dopest show in Las Vegas.

Shane Mauss presents Psychedelic Sundays: 

A Better Trip, a consciousness-expanding comedy show exploring the world of psychedelics. The show will take place on Sunday, May 7; Monday, May 15; Sunday, May 21; and Sunday, May 28, with doors opening at 7 p.m. at The Wall. Tickets start at $32.95 and can be purchased here. In “A Better Trip,” Mauss delves into the intersection of science and psychedelics, taking the audience on a kaleidoscopic and comedic journey through some of the most intriguing substances on Earth. Avenged Sevenfold presents “Life Is But A Dream… 360º Immersive Album Experience” at AREA15 from Thursday, May 11 to Sunday, May 14. 

The show times vary and tickets are priced at $35. The event will take place in The Portal and The Wall. Join the multi-platinum headliners and heavy metal rock band on an existential journey as they showcase their first full-length album in over seven years, featuring 11 new songs with grand, immersive visuals. The album is set to release on June 2, 2023, and guests will have the exclusive opportunity to experience it three weeks before its official release. FOOD AND BEVERAGE OFFERINGS:

At The Beast by Todd English, guests can indulge in the newly introduced “Beast Sized” hurricane cocktails served in a branded souvenir glass that they can take home for a price of $30. These cocktails are a massive 26 ounces and can be refilled for $20. The four available cocktails are:

  • The Fuzzy Unicorn, a layered cocktail made with Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka, Svedka Mango, Pineapple Vodka, Peach Liqueur, Blue Curacao Sour, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, champagne, rainbow sprinkles, and cotton candy.
  • Melon Skull Margari, made with Anza Tequila, Midori Melon Liqueur, Watermelon Pucker, triple sec, sour, and agave.
  • Syonara Sunset, made with Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka, Bacardi Rum, gin, tequila, triple sec, Blue Curacao, butterfly pea simple syrup, sour, and lime juice.
  • Rum Baby Rum, made with Bacardi Rum, Meyer’s Dark Rum, Banana Liqueur, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

AREA15 Block Party Weekends

Join the party every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. until closing at LIFTOFF Bar & Ride, as AREA15 brings back the ultimate block party experience. The Block Party features a range of exciting activities such as food trucks, local vendors, outdoor games, rides on LIFTOFF, and live DJs to keep you dancing all night long. Enjoy the special Querido tequila flights at the bar as you immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of the party.

AREA15’S RADIANCE WELLNESS PROGRAM INSIDE THE PORTAL:

AREA15 invites guests to embark on a journey of self-discovery and rejuvenation with Radiance – their wellness program that offers a variety of ongoing programs to nurture the mind, body, and soul.

Join the guided conscious breathwork experience by Frequency Breathwork at The Portal, AREA15’s 3D projection-mapped room, as part of the Radiance wellness program. The session is available on Monday, May 8th, Monday, May 22nd, and Sunday, May 28th, with the class starting at 7 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. on weekends. Guests will be able to enjoy this deep psychedelic experience safely through their own oxygen supply while being surrounded by immersive visuals projected throughout the room. Tickets are $35 per person.

Experience an immersive yoga and wellness class with Dray Gardner in The Portal. This unique class, held on Sunday, May 7 at 11 a.m., is designed to help you tap into a higher version of yourself by building strength and creating awareness in your mind-body connection. As you practice yoga, you’ll be surrounded by state-of-the-art sound and 360-degree projections that will transport you to another world. Please bring your own mat. $25 tickets.

Join Merriliz Monzon and Krystian Eklund at The Sacred Lounge, a conscious community experience that will take place on Saturday, May 20 at AREA15. This one-hour session, starting at 11 a.m., will offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore their mind, body, and spiritual health through guided classes in the Portal, AREA15’s projection-mapped room. The session will include movement, meditation, and sound bath healing experiences that will empower and awaken the community. After the session, guests are invited to enjoy a social hour in the Sanctuary. General admission tickets start at $35. Experience Entheo, a soulful sensory journey into your own psychedelic space presented by Rooted Lounge and ReWyld Collective. This one-hour multi-sensory immersion, ceremony and sound bath includes themed visual projections, alchemical soundscapes, guided meditation, intention practice, moving mantras, breathwork, elemental rituals, live DJ, sound healing orchestra, spoken word, storytelling and more. The session will take place on Tuesday, May 23 at 7 p.m. in The Portal. General admission starts at $35.
