After making waves at its debut during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, the Nevera R, the newest member of the Nevera lineup, kicked off its U.S. tour with an eye-catching showcase in the heart of New York City’s Times Square. Next up, this electric hypercar will hit the road to Long Island for The Bridge classic car show on Saturday, September 14, followed by exclusive stops at showrooms in Rimac Greenwich, CT, in partnership with Miller Motorcars, and Rimac New York, Manhattan, in collaboration with Manhattan Motorcars.

The Nevera R is a performance machine designed to push boundaries. Building on its predecessor, it’s all about speed and control, hitting 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds. Staying true to Rimac’s bold, unapologetic brand ethos, the Nevera R packs 2,107 horsepower, powered by a next-gen 108kWh Rimac battery, paired with state-of-the-art tech. With a fixed rear wing and a large diffuser, the car’s aerodynamic upgrades increase downforce by 15% and boost efficiency by 10%. The Michelin Cup 2 tires grip the road tighter, cutting understeer by 10% and raising lateral grip by 5%. Alongside Rimac’s advanced All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system and EVO2 carbon ceramic brakes, these enhancements shave 3.8 seconds off the original Nevera’s time on the Nardo Handling Track.

Sleek and aggressive, the Nevera R has been sculpted for speed. Its low-slung, streamlined look reflects its uncompromising performance. The interior can be tailored to each driver’s taste, with customizable color schemes and finishes, including painted carbon that mirrors the car’s bold exterior.
