On June 1, Högbo Brukshotell & Spa reopened its doors after an extensive renovation. The newly expanded spa, covering 1,100 square meters, features four outdoor pools, three sauna environments, and a heated indoor pool, providing a unique natural spa experience.
Upon entering the spa, guests are welcomed by a large, custom-built wooden bar inspired by the surrounding Gästrike nature. The interior boasts a spacious fireplace, lounge sofas, plants, and earthy-colored furnishings. Outside, the large glass walls reveal four outdoor pools, large sofas, and monsoon showers. Deeper within the spa, guests can enjoy a larger warm pool, a cold water bucket, a foot bath, and three different sauna concepts.
The spa offers a range of treatments, including Himalayan scrubs, Heavenly facials, and Algae detoxes. Amy Pettersson, the spa manager, brings over 23 years of experience in the spa and beauty industry from Australia, Canada, and Sweden.
For smaller groups, the spa offers the “Bubble and Babble” concept, which includes a relaxing foot bath in a copper vessel with foot treatment and massage, accompanied by a sparkling drink. This concept is designed for private gatherings or business meetings in a relaxed setting.
For celebrations and kick-off events, the spa features Enen, a private room available for exclusive use by small or large groups.
In addition to the new spa, the Orangerie has also opened, featuring a bistro, bar, and a central fireplace crafted by local artisans. With a ceiling height of nearly 9 meters and large glass sections, the Orangerie ensures that nature is always present. Guests can enjoy pizzas made from locally harvested ingredients and end the evening with drinks from the bar, including homemade beer and nature-inspired cocktails.
Högbo Brukshotell & Spa reopened on June 1 with the new spa, Orangerie, conference facilities, and 12 new hotel rooms.
