Breguet Unveils New Gem-Set Models in Iconic Marine Collection

Breguet has introduced new gem-set models to its iconic Marine collection, adding a contemporary flair that evokes a desire for the open seas.

These latest designs feature eight diamonds replacing select hour markers on each dial, with the bezel adorned with 50 diamonds, reminiscent of sunlight sparkling on water. These watches incorporate several of Breguet’s distinctive aesthetic elements. The luminescent facetted gold hour and minute hands display the brand’s famous eccentric open-tipped style. The tip of the seconds hand signifies the letter “B” for “Bravo” in navigation codes, in a nod to maritime signals. The crown guard at 3 o’clock is distinguished by the wave shape characteristic of the Marine line. The caseband of each model showcases the fluted motif common to most Breguet watch cases, a design favored by Abraham-Louis Breguet for its functional elegance, providing a refined appearance and better grip.

These new models enrich the Marine Collection’s chronograph range, incorporating several of Breguet’s beloved design elements. Available in white or rose gold, these sporty versions feature a deep blue dial adorned with wave motifs, hand-guilloché within the Manufacture. The dial’s abyssal blue is illuminated by eight baguette-cut diamonds around the chapter ring, enhanced by luminescent hands and Roman numerals. The chronograph counters for 30 minutes, 12 hours, and 60 seconds are located at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock respectively, with a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. The bezel of this new edition is set with 90 baguette-cut diamonds, adding extra radiance. These models come with a midnight-blue leather or rubber strap, each featuring a triple-blade folding clasp with a gold cap reminiscent of a ship’s wheel.
