Maroon 5 has solidified their status as one of pop music’s enduring acts and one of the biggest groups of the 21st century. Since their debut album “Songs About Jane,” the Los Angeles-based band has won three GRAMMY Awards, sold over 96 million albums, and over 660 million singles worldwide.

Adam Levine stands out as the first artist on Spotify to achieve 1 billion streams on a song both as part of a group and as a soloist, with Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts” featuring Levine. Additionally, when “Moves Like Jagger” hit #1, Levine became the first artist in the Hot 100’s 60-year history to reach #1 as part of a group while also having a solo Top 10 hit with “Stereo Hearts.”

Maroon 5 was also the first artist to reach over 3 billion views on a music video on YouTube and currently has more than 23 billion combined views on their YouTube channels.

Since their first release in 2002, Maroon 5 has had 32 records on the BILLBOARD HOT 100, with 26 reaching the Top 50, 22 in the Top 25, 15 in the Top 10, and 10 in the Top 5. Three of these are Diamond Certified, and 23 are Platinum certified. Maroon 5 holds records for the most Top 10 hits and the most #1 hits on the HOT 100 this century by a duo or group, as well as the most #1 hits by a duo or group in Top 40 chart history. In January 2023, “Moves Like Jagger” was named the second most downloaded song of all time.
