The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, in partnership with the renowned Mexican eatery Naco Taco in Hanoi and with the backing of the Mexican Embassy in Vietnam, is all set to launch the “Mexican Culinary Fiesta”, an exclusive event in May showcasing the diverse flavors and cultural richness of Mexican cuisine. This month-long extravaganza will unfold at angelina, the contemporary cocktail bar, whisky lounge, and restaurant within the iconic luxury hotel, starting on May 3rd.
Collaborating with angelina chefs and Metropole’s Culinary Director Remi Van Peteghem, acclaimed Mexican culinary artist Chef Gabriela Espinosa, currently based in Bangkok, will curate a special menu paying tribute to the intricate tastes and cultural heritage of Mexican cuisine, globally celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage cuisine. Joining forces with angelina’s mixologists, Octavio Muñoz Castillo Jauregui, Master Mezcalier and co-founder of Naco Taco, will enhance the culinary journey with a selection of finely crafted mezcal-based cocktails.
In January, Metropole Hanoi embarked on a new chapter in its 123-year history with the reopening of its historic Heritage Wing following an extensive renovation project spanning 21 months, meticulously restoring and renovating its 103 guest rooms and suites.
