Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Paramount, shared new updates about the ongoing transformations and enhancements at the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The first phase of the changes at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is set to be unveiled in spring 2024.
Taking the lead in this transformative journey is the Snick Lounge, an upscale, 90s-inspired venue situated in the former Vino Vino restaurant. Boasting a dynamic arcade game room, sports lounge, and live music venue, Snick Lounge captures the essence of 90s Nickelodeon with design elements from the brand’s iconic hits of that era, infused with a modern touch. Guests can relive cherished childhood memories and unwind on the iconic Big Orange Couch!
Food and beverage enhancements are also a highlight. The resort introduces The Sweetery in the former Doppio space, a haven for coffee and ice cream enthusiasts. It features a photo spot where guests can immerse themselves in the charm of Nickelodeon’s beloved grumpy cat, Garfield. The Sweetery offers a delightful coffee station and tempting ice cream options, including soft-serve scoops, popsicles, decadent toppings, and cones. Guests can also savor savory options with a selection of deli choices and tasty cold cuts.
The excitement continues with ongoing enhancements throughout 2024, including in-room art updates and character-themed culinary experiences. Aqua Nick, the renowned waterpark, will see additions such as a new main entry, two pools with a slide tower, restrooms, splash games, and comfortable sun beds with large umbrellas. New additions to live entertainment offerings will bring more Slime and opportunities for guests to interact with their favorite Nickelodeon characters.
Signature seasonal events include Summer of SpongeBob, Slime Break Getaway, Nick Jr. Friends Event, Food & Slime Festival, and Nickelodeon Holiday Extravaganza. SpongeBob enthusiasts can immerse themselves in The Pineapple Villa, a fully immersive space inspired by SpongeBob’s underwater abode.
