The Imagine Ball, an intimate live comedy and music event, was organized by Imagine LA and produced by Val Vogt and John Terzian of The h.wood Group. This year, the event celebrated actor and comedian Kevin Hart, presenting him with the prestigious RISE TOGETHER Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the communities supported by Imagine LA.

Held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, the event brought together a distinguished group of individuals who shared a deep commitment to Imagine LA’s mission. The Imagine Ball aimed to transform the lives of 300 families, successfully raising over $400,000 to support the essential work carried out by Imagine LA and its impact on the families they served.

The evening, filled with music and comedy, featured a captivating stand-up performance by comedian Luenell and a soul-stirring concert by Leon Bridges. The event was graced by the presence of various VIPs, including John Terzian, Shawn Hatosy, Zak Penn, Steve Martino, Melissa Nielsen (Charity Auctioneer), Marsha Molinari, TuLynn Smylie (Imagine LA CEO), Jill Bauman (Imagine LA CEO Emeritus & Co-Founder of the Social Benefit Navigator), and numerous other distinguished guests.

Imagine LA (ILA), founded in 2006, embarked on a noble mission to break the cycle of family poverty and homelessness. Employing a holistic approach that included intensive case management, economic mobility programs, and comprehensive family mentorship known as the Family Partnership Model, ILA successfully prevented initial and recurring homelessness. Their efforts empowered families to maintain housing stability and thrive in the long term. Over the years, they walked alongside nearly 1,000 families, helping them reach for their dreams and attain housing and financial stability.
