MGM Resorts unveiled exclusive events for the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX weekend on November 16-18. They not only crafted some of the most exciting and exclusive viewing destinations for the race weekend, such as the Bellagio Fountain Club on their iconic fountains, but also offered experiences in the luxurious MGM Rewards Suite and F1® Hospitality Garage at the Pit Building. Additionally, MGM Resorts is giving the public a first look at its citywide programming.

BELLAGIO

The MGM Rewards Shoey Bar at Bellagio offers guests a unique opportunity to join in the iconic F1 podium celebration during the race weekend. Exclusive to Bellagio, the Shoey Bar lets visitors purchase specially crafted MGM Rewards-branded driving shoes designed by a renowned motorsport apparel designer. These shoes can be filled with a special libation in a waterproof beverage liner, allowing patrons to raise a triumphant toast just like the racing heroes on the podium. The Shoey Bar can be found in Bellagio’s Fountain Courtyard, adjacent to the main valet area, just steps away from the Bellagio Fountain Club.

From November 13 to 20, Bellagio guests can immerse themselves in the world of Ferrari’s fashion collection. A captivating pop-up store embodies the retail concept under the creative direction of Rocco Iannone. According to Iannone, “Entering a Ferrari store should replicate the excitement of the racing world mixed with the luxurious design and style of the collections created for men and women. I feel this store, even as a temporary curated space, will achieve this and provide our Bellagio customers with an unforgettable retail experience.”

Internationally acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will design a special four-course menu featuring wine pairings with renowned Hundred Acre wines at his Prime restaurant from November 16 to 18.

Renowned fifth-generation cognac producer Bénédicte Hardy will personally guide guests through exclusive cognac experiences at Le Cirque on November 17-18. Guests will have the unique opportunity to interact with her as she oversees the restaurant’s cognac cart and presents the full range of Hardy cognacs, including the exquisite Hardy’s Perfection.

James Kent, the celebrated chef and winner of the Bocuse d’Or USA 2010, will create an exclusive dining experience at Le Cirque on Friday, November 17. Well-known for his culinary portfolio, which includes Michelin-starred New York restaurants Crown Shy and Saga, Kent will deliver an evening of culinary brilliance and exceptional flavors in celebration of Vegas’ premiere race weekend.

ARIA RESORT & CASINO

In celebration of its racing heritage during the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Alfa Romeo has organized an exhibit in the ARIA’s magnificent lobby. This showcase includes the All-New 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale, the new Giulia and Stelvio models, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Show Car, and a selection of racing merchandise available for purchase. Fans have the chance to test their reaction times with the Alfa Romeo Batak Board Challenge and earn a limited-edition pin designed by LEEN Customs. ARIA’s Lobby Bar pays homage to Alfa Romeo’s racing history, displaying racing memorabilia and offering signature drinks. On Wednesday, November 15, guests will have the opportunity to receive a signature Valtteri Bottas haircut by celebrity stylist Matthew Collins. Furthermore, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake will unveil a unique vehicle livery to be used during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, with special appearances by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

Two culinary legends, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the renowned Yamazaki Japanese whisky, are collaborating for an exclusive one-night dinner at ARIA’s Jean Georges Steakhouse. Taking place on Friday night, the dinner will feature a menu of specialty meats personally prepared by Chef Vongerichten, paired with an exclusive tasting from a private collection of whiskies not available to the public. This collection includes the ultra-rare Yamazaki 55, of which only 100 bottles were released outside of Japan.

At ARIA’s Carbone, guests can embark on a culinary journey with an exclusive menu curated by Mario Carbone, complemented by LOUIS XIII Cognac and cocktails by Rémy Martin. The menu highlights Carbone’s specialties, including Chicken Parmesan, Wagyu Tomahawk, and the exquisite Burrata and Caviar service. Signature cocktails include the Golden Age, a spiced sidecar with Remy Martin 1738, Gifford’s Apricot, Madagascar vanilla liqueurs, lemon, and a hint of spice; and the Original Old Fashioned, blending Mt Gay XO with honey syrup, dashes of angostura bitters, and burnt orange zest. To conclude the evening, guests will raise a glass of the prestigious Louis XIII Cognac, creating a night of unparalleled taste and sophistication. This dinner will be held on Thursday, November 16, at 7 p.m. and is limited to 40 guests.

THE COSMOPOLITAN

The Cosmopolitan will commence the race weekend with an exclusive opening night reception on November 16, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at Blue Ribbon and hosted by Chefs Bruce and Eric Bromberg. Guests in attendance will savor an assortment of unlimited caviar, seafood, and Veuve Clicquot, all while dancing to the rhythms provided by a live DJ performance.

Guests have the opportunity to join chef and humanitarian José Andrés as he explores the world of food and its global impact. On Friday, November 17, during lunch, attendees can partake in a live recording of José’s podcast, Longer Tables. This exclusive experience offers a behind-the-scenes look, and surprise guests may make appearances. Jaleo will serve an endless feast of signature tapas, including paella Valenciana and a curated selection of small bites, beer, and wine, immersing guests in the spirit and flavors of Spain.

AIOKA, renowned for hosting Grand Prix parties for over a decade, will transform The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool into an electrifying race extravaganza. The event, taking place from November 16 to 18 starting at 6 p.m. each evening, provides guests with breathtaking aerial views of the race, live DJ performances, signature cocktails, culinary presentations, and more. Attendance requires AIOKA membership, and additional information can be found at aioka.com.

The Cosmopolitan’s celebrated mixology program will introduce a Cocktail Circuit, guiding guests to four bars for handcrafted cocktails that showcase the artistry of well-made drinks. The circuit begins at Vesper Bar with a unique twist on classic cocktails, proceeds to Ghost Donkey for signature Mexican snacks and mezcal, offers a ‘secret drink’ experience at The Chandelier, and concludes at Beauty & Essex with Chef Chris Santos, where guests can enjoy the final cocktail paired with a chef’s selection of small bites. The event will run from Thursday through Saturday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Cosmopolitan invited six local and regional artists to design custom F1 helmets, merging the technology and sleek design of helmets with each artist’s creativity. These reimagined helmets, crafted by Sharon Louise Barnes, Eric Vozzola, Nancy Good, Robby Martin, Cerissa Lopez, and Dan Hernandez, will be on display throughout the race weekend on Level 2 near the Harmon Bridge entrance.

Innovation in technology meets cocktails at The Chandelier, brought to life through augmented reality. The Cosmopolitan offers a unique digital experience where a simple drink order becomes an otherworldly adventure. Visitors to The Chandelier can order a Verbena and witness how a picture can transform into a personalized AR race-infused story.

The Marquee Dayclub Dome will host multiple pool events during the race weekend. Loud Luxury and the Nelk Boys, presented by Happy Dad Seltzer, will lead the festivities on Friday, November 17. DJ Martin Garrix will take the stage at the daytime party on Saturday, November 18, while Justin Credible will entertain guests on Sunday, November 19. Mustard will conclude the three-day celebrations with a performance at Marquee Nightclub on Sunday night.

PARK MGM

Sapphire Reserve cardmembers are in for a special treat at Mama Rabbit in Park MGM during Race Weekend. They will have the privilege of enjoying exclusive discounts on drinks and earning 3x points on their food and drink expenditures. Mama Rabbit is renowned for having the most extensive collection of agave-based spirits in Las Vegas, featuring rare mezcals and tequilas from various regions of Mexico, as well as live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. When Sapphire Reserve cardmembers check in at Park MGM for the weekend, they can take advantage of a dedicated check-in line and receive a unique welcome gift by presenting their card.

MGM GRAND

Internationally acclaimed chef Masaharu Morimoto, known for his appearances on “Iron Chef America” and “Morimoto’s Sushi Master” on The Roku Channel, cordially invites guests to experience an extraordinary Omakase dinner at his eponymous restaurant located at MGM Grand. This exceptional dining experience takes place from Thursday through Saturday and is limited to 35-40 guests each evening. The dinner features a five-course menu meticulously curated by Chef Morimoto himself, highlighting the finest seafood, beef, and globally sourced ingredients. To enhance the meal, specially selected sake and wine pairings, including offerings from the chef’s personal vintages, will be served.

Hakkasan Nightclub presents an exciting lineup of race weekend entertainment. Hip-hop artist Fat Joe takes the stage on Thursday, November 16, to kick off the festivities. On Friday, November 17, Fisher will keep the party going for clubgoers. The weekend culminates with a performance by the popular DJ and music producer Steve Aoki on Saturday, November 18.

A CULINARY PARADISE. 

During race weekend, The Strip promises to be a haven for food enthusiasts as renowned culinary luminaries such as José Andrés, Wolfgang Puck, the Voltaggio Brothers, David Chang, Michael Mina, and several others, will personally oversee their respective restaurants, curating special dinners and interacting with diners. In honor of this extraordinary event weekend, a multitude of MGM Resorts’ acclaimed restaurants will extend their operating hours and offer specially crafted brunch menus for guests to savor.
