The Lobby:
The Lobby serves as The Peninsula London’s all-day restaurant and Afternoon Tea lounge, situated at the heart of the hotel. This grand space sets the stage for a special dining experience, from the moment guests are greeted by The Peninsula Pages to The Peninsula Afternoon Tea, renowned worldwide for its uncompromising quality of service and culinary excellence.
Since its inception at The Peninsula Hong Kong in 1928, The Lobby has remained a favored gathering place for international guests and local residents alike. It exudes grandeur with soaring ceilings, chandeliers, and bespoke artwork depicting scenes of London landmarks, creating a welcoming and exquisite ambiance.
Afternoon Tea at The Peninsula, crafted by a skilled team of chefs, pâtissiers, and chocolatiers, is an occasion not to be missed, harkening back to the British birthplace of this cherished tradition.
Canton Blue:
Canton Blue offers a transportive dining experience, bringing to life tales reminiscent of the Keying Junk’s odyssey, which transported goods from China to Britain. Situated on the ground floor of The Peninsula London, this restaurant celebrates fine Cantonese cuisine.
Designed by Henry Leung of CAP Atelier, the four dining rooms draw inspiration from the Keying Junk, a three-masted, 800-ton Chinese trading ship that sailed between China and Britain from 1846 to 1848.
Executive Chef Dicky To’s timeless menu is anchored in Cantonese tradition, with elements of recognizably British ingredients intertwined throughout. The dining experience encourages guests to share multiple dishes, highlighting the myriad textures, flavors, and aromas integral to Chinese haute cuisine.
The drinks list features a collection of Chinese rice spirit, Baijiu, alongside a selection of over 200 fine wines from around the world. Fresh leaf tea focuses on provenance and small tea production.
Little Blue:
Little Blue marries flavors from the East with techniques from the West, offering a fresh and immersive drinks concept to London. From the cobalt-lacquered doors at the entrance to the towering white porcelain bamboo tree and the bar itself, made from stacks of Chinese apothecary drawers, the bar provides a captivating experience. The cocktail menu at Little Blue is designed to take guests on a journey of discovery from Canton to London.
The Peninsula Boutique & Café:
The Peninsula Boutique & Café seamlessly blends a relaxed retail and gourmet grab-and-go concept with the finest made-to-order patisserie for the local Belgravia community and beyond. Within this beautiful space, an array of curated gifts awaits, along with a selection of delectable pastries, light bites, and drinks for visitors and hotel guests alike.
This establishment showcases the hotel’s legendary reputation for excellence, with a team of highly experienced chefs, expert pâtissiers, and chocolatiers. It serves as a refined dining and lifestyle space with its entrance on Grosvenor Crescent, offering unique gifts and keepsakes, including luxury teas, artisanal chocolates, and seasonal items such as the iconic Peninsula Mooncakes, capturing the essence of The Peninsula’s rich heritage.
