BLINK is returning to Cincinnati for the first time since 2019, bringing with it transcendent works across mediums. The 2019 event brought 1.3 million people together, rallying people from all over the world around arts and culture, bolstering the Cincinnati community.
Sitting at the crossroads of innovative art and new technology, BLINK embodies the spirit of world-building, connecting artists who craft their own unique environments within the Cincinnati cityscape. BLINK is free to the public, making it a model in accessibility.
This long-awaited return brings not only new technologies, but a new Executive Director as well. Justin Brookhart, the former Vice President of Operations for Mondo, brings his experience growing an international community of collectors to the event, using his knowledge of community-building to enrich BLINK as a whole.
DRONE SHOW
BLINK, illuminated by ArtsWave, in partnership with Sky Elements Drone Shows, will introduce its drone show presented by altafiber at Smale Riverfront Park for viewing in Cincinnati and Covington with two shows each evening from October 13-16.
The BLINK Drone Light show, which will include 300 drones for about a 10 minute show, will be a sequence of unmanned aerial vehicles or UAVs operating in harmony to display 3D imagery, animations and lighting. Attendees will be able to view the lighted sky spectacle along both sides of the Ohio River.
