This summer, the Winter Garden at the Grand Hôtel will transform into a football and restaurant experience

This summer the Grand Hôtel will be offering a new experience on the football scene in Stockholm.  The Veranda restaurant is opening a pop-up restaurant in the Winter Garden, showing UEFA Euro football matches in June and July. A unique restaurant experience with 360° projection technology will put guests right in the middle of all the action.

From the start of the UEFA Euros on June 11 through to the finals on July 11, the Winter Garden at the Grand Hôtel is being transformed into a football and restaurant experience.  The largest event space in the hotel, the Winter Garden is equipped with wall projection technology – now being used in a sports context for the first time.

During the football championships, the Winter Garden will transform into a Veranda restaurant pop-up, serving a menu featuring classic Veranda favorites along with a few select football-inspired dishes. In order to simplify flow and maximize the experience for guests, all food will be ordered at the table via an app. Seating is limited and reservations are made via the Grand Hotel website.

The Grand Hôtel will be showing select UEFA Euro 2021 matches. The Winter Garden will open an hour before the start of the match.  The hotel houses the stylish Cadier Bar, Mathias Dahlgren’s award-winning restaurants and the classic Veranda, all offering views of the Royal Palace and world-class food and drink.
