Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa has completed the property-wide renovation that included 560 redesigned guestrooms and suites, public spaces, and the addition of Central Coast Provisions, the hotel’s new market; and Sea Root Restaurant and Hearth, the signature restaurant opening in spring 2021. The hotel is located in the Monterey Pines with 22 acres of grounds and on-site experiences.
The new design is inspired by Monterey’s natural landscape features warm textures and colors reminiscent cypress trees and rolling sand dunes. Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa suites highlights include Pet Suite and Spyglass Poolside Suite. The Pet Suite offers a large living room with fireplace, king size bed and dining table. The sliding doors open to an outdoor patio or balcony adjacent the “the barking lot” exclusive play zone. They also include a pet bed, bowls, toy, and treats. The Spyglass Poolside Suite has an oversized patio that’s adjacent to the spyglass pool. The suite features a large living room with sectional, a dining table with seating for eight, a Murphy bed, separate bedroom with one king bed, and two bathrooms. There is also a President’s House, a 2,500 square foot stand-alone villa featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 and a half baths, living room, full kitchen and a backyard complete with a private pool.
At the hotel’s signature restaurant, Sea Root, guests will find a medley of coastal Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as crudo, tuna tartar, and spiced lamb shank with crafted cocktails. For a quick bite, there is the Central Coast Provisions, an open coffee-bar concept serving Starbucks coffee, pressed juices, and pastries. In addition, Knuckles Sports Bar will reopen in fall 2021.
Guest should take an advantage of the hotel’s delivery service, also known as “Roam Service.” It’s a service that let the guest order food and have it delivered wherever they are on the property. Delivery options includes 24 hours to guestroom and roaming from 6:00 am to 10:00 p.m. daily.
