Ten years after the Bal des Roses opus, Victoire de Castellane has created a new high jewelry collection dedicated to the rose flowers. The fifty-four pieces from RoseDior collection pay tribute to Monsieur Dior’s favorite flower.
A gold bracelet reminiscent of a realistic botanical texture is hammered and polished in a high jewelry atelier in Paris and then molded into a stem shape. The frost-like texture on the stem is expressed by applying pavé in places with diamonds of various sizes.
Combining precious stones, the delicate color of the roses is accurately reproduced, from the buds picked in the morning to the petals in full bloom in the afternoon.
A lagoon blue Paraïba tourmaline blooms on a Y-shaped necklace, while an ultramarine blue Madagascar sapphire weighing more than 8 carats crowns a flared cut rose, placed atop a white gold stem sprinkled with dewdrops formed by briolette diamonds.
The pink gold necklace is decorated with a single diamond-studded and yellow gold leaves. The motif can be removed and used a brooch. Also, the diamond Riviere necklace with ruby flowers turns into a bracelet, and the diamond and pink sapphire rose necklaces can be adjusted in length to change from long necklaces to chokers.
