Egypt held a special parade to transport the remains the national treasures to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization on Saturday.  The parade is called The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade.

Twenty remains of kings and queens are transported from Egyptian Museum to the new museum that is 5km away.  The new exhibits will be in the Royal Hall of Mummies, which will go on display to the public starting April 18, 2021.  The hall has been designed to provide visitors an experience as they are in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.

The remains are placed in a special nitrogen-filled boxes to preserve and protect against the external conditions.  Each mummy was carried in a special shock-absorber vehicle, and transported in chronological order of their reigns.
