After 13 years of providing delightful culinary experiences, db Bistro & Oyster Bar is saying goodbye as it closes its doors on January 21. In a tribute to its loyal patrons, the restaurant is offering a special ‘Greatest Hits’ menu, featuring beloved dishes that have defined its legacy in French culinary excellence.

Diners can enjoy the simplicity and elegance of poached leeks dressed in a delightful vinaigrette and topped with black winter truffles in poireaux vinaigrette. Another option is to indulge in the original DB burger, an American classic with a French twist, featuring red wine-braised short rib with foie gras. End the meal on a high note with the traditional Mont Blanc, where the richness of chestnut and subtle sweetness of meringue and whipped cream take center stage in this timeless French dessert.

As a final act of generosity towards the community, the restaurant is organizing a silent auction for its set of 13 Bozo hand-carved fish puppets displayed on its walls. The auction, beginning today (15 January), aims to raise funds for Art Outreach, a Singaporean non-profit organization dedicated to making art accessible and appreciated within the local community. All proceeds from the auction will contribute to this noble cause.

Fans of WAKUDA Restaurant & Bar, under the expertise of renowned chef Tetsuya Wakuda, have a treat in store with The Sushi Experience (S$128++ per person). This new 13-course contemporary dining offering takes guests on a culinary journey through the seasons and flavors of Japan.

The evening begins with the intimate enjoyment of WAKUDA’s signature flan featuring Hokkaido sweet corn. Guests then get to savor nine different types of nigiri sushi, each highlighting seasonal ingredients at their peak. The adventure concludes with negi toro roll sushi and WAKUDA’s miso soup filled with fresh nori (seaweed), junsai (watershield), tofu, and a sweet ending with the chef’s dessert of the day.

This tranquil haven, nestled amidst lush greenery at the back of the restaurant, offers moments of pure relaxation with beer packages featuring a choice of Heineken or Singapore Lager, and champagnes and wines starting from S$12++ per glass and S$70++ per bottle. To beat the hot weather, guests can enjoy frozen DIY cocktails and mocktails with six delightful flavors, including corn, mango, lychee, and red bean, and various preparation styles such as Margarita (salt or sour), Daiquiri (sugar or salt), Mojito, or Colada.
